CONSERVATIVE QUOTE: "SAn illegal immigrant can cross the U.S. border, have a baby and get access to tax funded services immediately. A disabled veteran coming back from Afghanistan has to wait a year to receive his or her benefits. It’s disgraceful." - Steve Lonegan

Pero's Going on Vacation
I'll be back on Monday, 4/26...Here's hoping I don't return to any unexpected Obaminations. Though I'm afraid it's likely to happen.
"We have seen it on the Republican and the conservative side much, much more than on the Democratic side. The name calling in groups, with signs, calling people, you know, epithets, comparing them to Hitler. We've seen it much more from the conservatives, from the tea party movement."
**I think I found the perfect response to this ridiculous screed: "Cry me a river, Cry me a river er er, cry me a river, cry me a river er er, YA YA" - Justin Timberlake
Either that or: "Would you like some cheese to go with that whine?"
How awful for people to be upset about their country being turned upside-down by the most radical 'rulers' (Obama/Pelosi/Reid and their henchmen) in the history of the American nation...How dare the American people be so angry to call their overlords names, as well as write words and draw pictures on signs. Tisk, tisk, tisk.
Poor Barack. Poor Nancy. Poor, pathetic, putrid, piteous, paltry, pitiful Harry...Poor, poor Democrats, being hated on by the majority of the American people.
That said, there is a way for the Democrats to get the people off their back: BY GETTING OFF THE PEOPLE'S BACK!**
"Dear Lord this year you have taken away my favorite actor, Patrick Swayze, my favorite actress, Farrah Fawcett, my favorite singer, Michael Jackson, and my favorite salesman, Billy Mays. I just wanted to let you know that Chris Christie is my favorite governor."
**Ain't that nice...I'm shocked I didn't hear about this on CNN, MSNBC, or the 'alphabet networks.' Heaven knows if a Conservative, a Republican, or a Tea Partier said something like this about a Democrat politico it would be 'headline news' all day/all night.
Like most states, New Jersey is a financial basket case, and is on the verge of 'going Greece.' Unlike most states, New Jersey has a governor who has the testicular fortitude to try and stop the state from going bankrupt. So what did Christie do to upset this teacher's union? He dared to tell them they are going to have a wage freeze. Oh my!...Guess what? I haven't had a raise in three years either, as is the case with many Americans at this time of economic difficulty. Hell, forget raises, almost 10% of Americans don't have jobs at all; upwards of 20% are underemployed.
So, please quit crying!
Liberals constantly say they are trying to "help the children." Maybe they can open their eyes and realize America's children are having their future stripped away from them due to the massive debt we're piling up...Maybe, the maggots in the teacher's unions can understand they are part of the debt problem in most states. NAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!! They just want 'theirs.' Screw the children.
Wanna know what I'd do if I were governor with such a problem? I'd break the unions and fire one out of every two teachers. Most classrooms have 30+ students in them; taking that number to 45 wouldn't kill the kids, and in the long run they'd be much better off for inheriting a country that doesn't have to beg China to bail them out when the poo-poo hits the fan.**
"We actually have not required in this law that you carry health insurance."
**Really? I can't wait to see how this liar spins her way out if this comment...Like most Democrat liars, she didn't bother. She sent out a spokes-mouth.
"Yes, this [Lil Deb's comment] is accurate...You have a choice of insuring yourself with affordable coverage, or paying an assessment that will offset the burden you place on other insured Americans by not being insured." - Jonathan Beeton
Actually, the counter-statement is worse...He's not just saying you have to have insurance or the government will come after you with fines, he's also saying you are a "burden."
The real irony of these statements is it's the true 'burdens on society' who these Democrats are using as pawns to steal from those who are productive in any way.**
“Imagine if somebody were to really sit down with Osama Bin Ladin and say, ‘listen man, what is it that you’re so angry at me about that you’re willing to have people strap bombs to themselves, or get inside of airplanes and fly them into buildings.’ That would be the miracle if we can get, sit down and talk to our enemies and find a way for them to hear us.”
**Modine starred in the movie 'Vision Quest,' and there's a song in this movie which perfectly fits Matty's idea of a meet and greet with Osama: "Lunatic Fringe, we know your out there." = Red Ryder
Lets see what a couple others think about this dipstick.
"Why hasn't the Obama administration hired Matthew Modine?" - Unknown blog commenter
"There’s a Matt dumber than Damon." - Breitbart's Big Hollywood**
TRUMPISM "[D]efined as secure borders, economic nationalism, interests-based foreign policy, and above all judging every government action through a single lens: does this help or harm Americans." - Journal of American Greatness
THIS DAY IN HISTORY
1986 - The world's worst nuclear accident occurred at the Chernobyl Plant in the Soviet Union. An explosion and fire in the number-four reactor sent radioactivity into the atmosphere. At least 31 Soviets died immediately.
It’s amazing this event hadn’t happened before or since...Especially with the Ruskies.
Oh by the way, it will eventually happen again...We are lucky it didn't happen after the 2011 Japanese Earthquake, which is still a structural mess.
That said, this event should be encouraging, because even the inept Soviets were able to keep this plant from exploding and devastating a whole city or region - even more than it did.
MEDAL OF HONOR RECIPIENT
Private Shizuya Hayashi
Private Shizuya Hayashi distinguished himself by extraordinary heroism in action on 29 November 1943, near Cerasuolo, Italy.
During a flank assault on high ground held by the enemy, Private Hayashi rose alone in the face of grenade, rifle, and machine gun fire. Firing his automatic rifle from the hip, he charged and overtook an enemy machine gun position, killing seven men in the nest and two more as they fled. After his platoon advanced 200 yards from this point, an enemy antiaircraft gun opened fire on the men. Private Hayashi returned fire at the hostile position, killing nine of the enemy, taking four prisoners, and forcing the remainder of the force to withdraw from the hill. Private Hayashi’s extraordinary heroism and devotion to duty are in keeping with the highest traditions of military service and reflect great credit on him, his unit, and the United States Army.
