The U.S. Repudiates its Leader...

...And His Policies.

There is no way to deny the 2014 Election was a complete disaster for Democrats - they got pummelled in the House and Senate, and also took a beating in state governors races (along with downline spots, too)...There is also no way to pretend the American people crushed the Democrats because they are in love with Republicans.

No, the 2014 Election was about one thing:  Liberalism...Not just Obama, nor Reid, nor Pelosi.  It was about the crisis our country is in because it has been led down the disastrous road of Liberalism, and the people know we must put an end to the madness.  They also know Obama is the perfect tool for pushing Liberalism.

Sadly, I'm not sure the American people have the toughness it will take to dig out of our hole (no one is willing to give up 'theirs'), and I'm not sure the Republican Party has the guts to lead them out of the hole...But the American people know we must stop digging, which will never happen with Democrats leading the country - because they are the ones creating the hole.

"How does the president not read this as a rejection of his name, of his party, of his agenda?  How does he not read that?" - Chris Matthews

It's hard to believe Matthews asked the perfect question, but he did.  So, what did the president say about the election?

"To everyone that voted, I want you to know, I hear you." - President Obama

Well, that is good, and I have no doubt Obama heard the American people...But does he care what they have to say?  Will what he heard lead to him changing the way he leads - specifically his unwillingness to take advice or work with Republicans?

"Before the end of the year, we're going to take whatever lawful actions that I can take (regarding amnesty for illegal immigrants)." - President Obama (Part of his speech where he said he heard the voters)

This the problem.  Obama still plans on doing whatever he wants (including granting amnesty through executive action to who-knows-how-many illegal immigrants).  He heard the people, but he's planning to continue down the road as if nothing happened on election night.  There is a total disconnect between his plans and the wants of the people.

"[A]nd this is where things get very, very dangerous for America.  President Obama still has two more years left in his final term." - Charles Hurt

Never forget, during the 2008 Election, Obama promised he would 'fundamentally change' the United States.  He didn't want to alter it, fix it, make it better.  He wanted to 'fundamentally change' it...He's still the President of the United States, and losing an election - no matter how badly - does not change his desire to 'fundamentally change' the U.S.

And he knows Congress won't dare impeach him; not even one with a strong Republican majority...There is no way they could get away with impeaching the 'first black president.'  He knows this, and he knows that fact makes him almost untouchable.

So, he will roll with the punches of the election, and continue on his way towards transforming our country.

Thankfully Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi were pushed away from the levers of power in Congress, but we better pray Republican leadership - in Congress and state governors - has the testicular fortitude to push back on Obama.  If they don't, he just might 'succeed.'
