Not only did they put an incorrect picture representation of Greenland, which showed huge swaths of the landmass green instead of ice covered, but they also added a false statement as well:

“For the first time the new edition has had to erase 15 percent of Greenland’s permanent ice cover – turning an area the size of the UK and Ireland ‘green’ and ice-free.”

In other words: 'Oops. We're sorry, we didn't think anyone would notice our attempt to drastically lie about the spread of Global Warming. We're truly sorry - for getting caught.'

If they were being truly honest they'd extend their apology to say: 'Next time we'll be more discreet and careful about spreading our propaganda.'

Just another reason to always be skeptical about what you see and read...Especially from those who claim their evidence is 'indisputable' or 'concrete', but can't prove it.

I truly hope you didn't sit through tonight's State of the Union Address. It was full of the usual BS, but most important, he said nothing new...So, I figured we may as well dig out an oldie-but-goodie from SOTU's past.

How's that "(cutting) the deficit in half" thing working out, America?

Forget the 'man-behind-the-curtain' blowing smoke (literally). Truthfully answer the question...How well is Obama doing at cutting the deficit? Forget "in half"; how about at all?

How are any of his promises, for that matter? Everything sucks: Unemployment is up, the cost of food and gas is up, home foreclosures are up, the National Debt is way up. Everyone is hurting...Well, everyone except Obama's pals on Wall St. Last I checked Wall St. is recovering nicely, which is great, but it is something every Average Joe/Jane American should wonder about: Why is Wall St. doing better while the rest of us aren't?

Answer: Follow the money! You shouldn't be surprised to find much of it landing in Obama's re-election coffers.

White House Statement (Obama's Mouthpiece When He Doesn't Have the Gall To Say It Himself)

"Today's announcement is the latest in a series of executive actions the Obama administration is taking to strengthen the economy and move forward because we can't wait for Congress to act."

- The "announcement": Obama ordered a $1.5 billion summer-jobs fund, which he hopes will create 180,000 "work opportunities" aimed at hiring youths for summer jobs.

A couple things jumped off the page when reading about this "executive action":

1. If Obama wanted to create a legitimate jobs program he could get it done tomorrow, but instead he chooses to send impossible ideas to Congress. Ideas filled with poison pills, with the sole hope of them failing so he can cry about how the Republicans won't play nice with him. This way he can run for re-election against a so-called 'Do Nothing Congress'...Funny thing is, even his Democrat pals want no part of most of these ridiculous schemes. Which doesn't keep him from hatching them, however.

2. Before the recession began, 2007, the unemployment rate for those 16-24 years of age was 10.7%. After three years of Obama-drama the rate is 16% (officially, it's much higher in reality)...During two of the three years Democrats had massive majorities in the House and Senate. He could have passed any jobs bill he wanted, but he didn't want to, and didn't.

3. $1.5 billion for 180,000 "work opportunities" = $8,333 per 'work opportunity'...That doesn't seem like much of a salary. I can't imagine the 'Occupy' and union crowds are OK with such a paltry salary. What's going on here? How can Obama think he can pay 180,000 workers such a poor rate?

4. Of the 180,000 "work opportunities" this plan is scheduled to create only 70,000 paid positions...Nope, I'm not kidding. Obama is going to create 110,000 non-paid "work opportunities." I guess this is how he's going to pay a more reasonable rate. 70,000 workers will get an average of around $21,000 and 110,000 will get $0.

What a genius idea!!! In fact, I like it so much I'm going to announce my own personal 'jobs plan'. I'm going to call it "The Pero Work Opportunity Plan" (pretty snazzy, aye)....And I'm going to up the ante. Under my plan, I'm going to offer millions of young people the opportunity to work for me for free.

Oh, and I'm sure Obama's 110,000 non-paid employees will show up in the official jobs report as 'employed workers', which will drop the unemployment rate...He may as well include my millions, too.

Oh, and $200 billion to the cities and states would barely put a dent in the almost $3 TRILLION debt the states, cities and municipalities currently owe...Another small detail.

Finally, the $800 billion (or however many trillions it would really end up costing) wouldn't be worth the cost of the paper it's written on due to inflation, but who cares if we become Zimbabwe?

It would be cheaper for Obama to just execute half the working population and give the unemployed the jobs of the dead, which would be almost as Constitutional as Jesse's plan is.

Uhhhhhhh, it's a CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY. They even go so far as to call it Catholic University of America so no one is confused by the fact it is a CATHOLIC UNIVERSITY...Obviously, the whole matter is ridiculous, but it does bring one to ask a few basic questions:

1. What are these Muslim students doing congregating with the Infidels? I'd think their Muslim peers would find this unacceptable...Could it be these Muslim students recognize they are safer and allowed to achieve a better education outside the realm of Islam?

2. Why is a Catholic university allowing Muslims in its school? I'd think their Catholic peers would find this unacceptable...Maybe not, however, considering the Catholic seminary schools allowed themselves to be infiltrated by homosexuals, which was the root cause of its pedophile problem. Yes I went there, and yes I'm willing to defend that statement. Same thing with the Penn St. situation, by the way. If Sandusky had been raping girls it would have been stopped immediately - But I digress.

3. I wonder how many Catholics, or Christians of any type, are allowed to attend Muslim schools? An even more obviously ridiculous question is how many Christians are allowed to perform prayers in these universities without being imposed on by Islamic symbols and rules? I'm quite certain we know the answer to this is not many; if any at all.

The whole thing is a joke, but Catholics have allowed themselves to be the butt of jokes by lowering and bending its standards in many ways. Allowing Muslim students is just one way it has unnecessarily injured itself.

Lets do a little housekeeping here:
1. The OMB is a function of the office of the President and does nothing without his approval...So, this came from Obama.
2. The President, Senate and the House are in a budget spat, because in 2010 the Democrats running all three didn't bother to make a budget for 2011. They didn't because they knew if they made their normal ridiculous budget they would have lost even worse in the 2010 election, and if they didn't make their normal budget their Liberal base would have been pissed off...As of tomorrow night the current federal government funding mechanism will end, and the government will shut down until they figure out a budget to fund the rest of this fiscal year.
3. H.R. 1363 is a measure passed by the Republican controlled House to fully fund our military until the end of the fiscal year (September 30)...It's pretty certain the 49 Republican senators will vote for this measure, and I can't believe at least two Democrats won't do so as well.

So, here we go, if they can't figure out a budget resolution the government will shut down Friday at midnight. AND OUR TROOPS WON'T BE GUARANTEED THEIR PAY!!!!

The House has passed a bill to assure they do, and it will surely get through the Senate to the President's desk to be signed...AND OBAMA VOWS TO VETO IT!!!

You have got to be shitting me!?!?! This son of a bitch wants to play politics with our soldiers! Our soldiers who are in harms way throughout the whole damn world! Is he out of his fucking mind? Maybe some day seniors will understand they are nothing but pawns in the Democrat Party's big-government power play, and their grandchildren are going to be the ones left holding the bag (of money) when the bill is due...Then again, maybe I'm wrong in assuming seniors care. Maybe they'll finally get sick of the 'Masters of the Universe' screwing with their lives...Which is why Friedman had to throw in the comment about waiting until 2012, because he knows if he gets his way and the government artificially props up the cost of gas (more than it already does) his Liberal friends in Congress are going to get booted out of office in greater numbers than they did in 2010. - The Middle East is in the process of implosion, and Obama is taking sides...I have no problem with that. But lets be honest, Obama made the decision to get involved on his own (or was pushed by the French, Hillary, the U.N. or someone) and we weren't directly threatened or attacked.
- Bush had no intention of going to war with anyone. In fact, he hardly made mention of foreign policy during his election campaign...If I recall right, however, the U.S. was directly threatened and attacked on 9/11/01. Call me an 'imperialist pig', but this was a justified reason to go to war. The choices of Iraq and Afghanistan can be debated, but the choice to take the war to the Islamists instead of allowing them to fight on our turf was a sound one.

What it comes down to is Liberals will do everything they can to defend THEIR WAR PRESIDENT (even though his decision to continue and go to war are entirely his own), and continue to attack President Bush (even though the U.S. was attacked on 9/11).

I'm sure Alter and his supposedly nonpartisan journalist buddies don't see it this way, but it is what it is. And what it is is a load of crap; propaganda at its finest...Keep this in mind when you watch/read/listen to the Mainstream Media. And keep in mind the old Russian saying: 'There is no News in the Truth, and there is no Truth in the News.'

Wanna know who is a hypocrite? The biggest liar in American politics at this time is President Barack Obama...Re-read the above statement. Yes, Kucinich made it, but he quoted from Sen. Barack Obama in a December 2007 rant against Bush's use of the military.

At least Bush went to Congress seeking their approval to invade Afghanistan and Iraq; and he got their approval...Obama didn't bother with this step. Instead he went to the all-important United Nations. He's went the the stinking U.N. for authorization instead of the U.S. Congress.
